Flower Essences for Pets

As many of you know, I am a trained herbalist and make my own tinctures, essences and medicinal oils which I integrate into my work with people and animals.

The three most common reasons why people seek out my animal communication services are 1. to help a pet recover from an experience 2. to help a pet adapt to an upcoming change or 3. to help both people and pets with the animal's transition when an animal is actively dying. At the core of all these is the need to get stuck energy flowing. Sessions alone can be extremely helpful in getting stuck energy flowing smoothly. However, many clients expressed an interest in continued support of keeping this process moving after our session is over. As a result I formulated three Pet Essences: Recover, Adapt and Crossing.

Recover
helps energetically support the healing process as animals recover from an event that was physically and/or emotionally difficult.
Adapt helps pets adjust to changes in their environment such as vacations, moves, or the addition or subtraction of a member of the household.
Crossing helps energetically support an actively dying pet and his/her loved ones. Aside from being born, death is probably the most sacred and major transformational energetic process that we (humans and animals) undergo.

Each essence comes in a .5oz glass amber dropper bottle. Pet Essences do not contain a medicinal level of herbs but rather work at an energetic level and are both powerful and yet gentle. Each essence contains a blend of herb and flower essences which is then infused with energy from crystals. When an essence is purchased I spend some time tuning into the pet to see how the essence resonates with your pet and I make any appropriate adjustments to the formula. So each essence is specifically formulated for your individual pet's needs. I then charge the essence with reiki. Each essence is in a base of distilled water and a small amount of alcohol as a preservative. My essences are available for purchase at my herbshop at etsy.com.

Yarrow Tincture 1oz $10.00

I hand harvested this batch of yarrow last summer on a sunny hillside. Yarrow is one of the most popular herbs used by herbalists. It has so many uses I won't list them all. It has an affinity for circulatory, respiratory, urinary and digestive systems as well as the skin. Yarrow was used during ancient battles to stop bleeding and disinfect wounds on the battlefield. It is excellent in inducing sweat and reducing fevers and is frequently added to cold and flu formulas. It helps with appetite and digestion. It breaks up old blood so it is frequently used in salves to heal bruises. Energetically, I have used it quite successfully for myself and clients to cut energetic cords to other people. I keep it in my bag as part of my herbal first aid kit to disinfect cuts and stop bleeding. I also find it extremely helpful for the onset of a cold or flu. Not for use during pregnancy.**

Nettle Leaf Tincture 1oz $10.00

Promotes healthy kidney function. Great tonic for year round use. Nettle is one of my all time favorite herbs. It contains vitamins and minerals and is often used as a tea for chronic conditions such as fatigue, PMS and an overall sense of burnout or depletion. My herbal teacher says "when all else fails, try nettles." Nettle leaf tea available. Click on "teas" in labels.**

Ashwagandha Tincture 1oz $10.00

Supports hormonal balance. Helpful for insomnia. Calming and strengthening. Ashwaghanda is what is called an adaptogen in herbalist's terms. It is for people who feel stressed out to the max, fatigued, depleted. It helps calm the nervous system but at the same time it is strengthening and nourishing. It is helpful for women dealing with PMS symptoms as it helps bring hormones into balance.**

Astragalus Tincture 1oz $10.00

General immune system tonic. I use it in winter tonic for cold/flu prevention. Astragalus is an amazing herb that has been used by the Chinese for many many years. It can be used during transition seasons (fall & spring) which makes people more susceptible to colds. It is a great immune tonic and can be used for those who seem to keep getting one illness after another. It is gentle yet strengthening.**
